The Mile2® Certified Security Awareness 1 (C)SA1) certification course is intended for anyone that uses a computer on the internet. Student attendees will learn the security threats inherent to today’s digital workplace as well as the countermeasures associated to combating these ever increasing cyberattacks.
Employees will learn that the weakest link in any security program is a poorly trained organization. The Certified Security Awareness (C)SA1) course teaches general security awareness as well as how to develop a strong cybersecurity organizational culture within your company’s community. The Social Engineering portion of the CSA1 is designed to familiarize the participants the skills used by social engineers to facilitate the extraction of information from an organization using technical and non-technical social engineering methods.

Upon completion, the Certified Security Awareness 1 candidate will be able to competently take the C)SA1 exam. In addition, the CSA1 student will be able to understand how to be part of a sound cybersecurity culture as a “human firewall.”
Overall, the CSA1 participant will learn basic cybersecurity principles to keep their devices protected as well as their originations IP and IT infrastructure secure.
The Certified Network Principles exam is taken online through Mile2’s Learning Management System and is accessible on you Mile2.com account.
A minimum grade of 70% is required for certification.
All Mile2 certifications will be awarded a 3-year expiration date.
